How to make gravy

Gravy is easy to make and will never be lumpy if you follow this way of making it. 4 tbs of fat juice from meat (this will be in the bottom of whatever pan you cooked the meat in)
4 tbs flour
2c. stock or broth (use chicken for chicken or turkey gravey and beef for beef gravy) In a pan heat meat fat. Add flour, stirring until paste is formed. Over low heat add stock at about 1/2 c. at a time wisking until thick. Do not add more liqued until previous liqued has thickened. |
