How to make a cheese sauce
By Vanessa Mccauley of Mommy Gourmet
You can use any melting cheese to make a cheese sauce. You start with a base of a white sauce or Béchamel sauce and add cheese into it. 2 tbs butter 4 tbs flour 2 cups milk 2 cups shredded cheese Melt butter in a small pot. Add flour and stir until a paste is formed. Keeping the sauce over a low heat add milk slowely (about 1/2c. at a time) wisking. Do not add more milk until the sauce thickens. Add cheese and stir until melted. If you find the sauce is too thick you can take the sauce off the heat and add a little milk until it reaches the consistancy you like.
